While swimming yesterday we decided that Bryton was ready to go under water, so we dunked her. And this is the video. She took it like a champ. She is pretty tough, and such a good sport. I suppose it might seem harsh to some that we dunked our one year old under the water. But we want her to be comfortable and confident in the water, and you have to start somewhere.
Bryton's Grandpa Brown got her a dog for her first birthday, and he is the cutest little thing you have ever seen. But because we don't have a place of our own right now he has to live at Grandpa's. She was so funny with him, he is so small she wasn't quite sure what to think. The look on her face in this picture says everything.
She was so soft with him, it was so cute.
Aren't those the two cutest faces?
Uh oh . . . maybe too much attention from the the little pup.
Bryton's Grandma Brown just got her this little walker (as a pre-birthday gift), and she LOVES it! She is still a little timid about walking, so I wasn't sure how she would do with it. But as soon as we had it set up she stood up, held on, and started cruising. Sometimes she gets going so fast she ends up on her knees, but she is so excited about it. I am sure she will be walking any day now. This is Bryton's new crawl - I call it her monkey crawl. She has actually been doing it for a while now, and it is hilarious. If she is on the carpet she will usually crawl normal, but as soon as she gets onto a hard surface, she pushes up onto her hands and feet. She is getting so close to walking, but she is still a bit of a chicken.
