Okay, so I have to preface this post by saying that I feel a little lame posting about this, but I couldn't help myself. I usually don't post about anything other than my daughter, but here goes nothing. For those of you who are also big Twilight fans, here is a link for a sweet clip of the filming of the movie. I LOVE the series and am much too excited about the movie.

Where Did April Go?
So, I sat down to do some blog-hopping tonight and realized that it has been weeks since I have looked at any body's blogs, and almost a month since I have posted pictures. Honestly, where did April go? I feel like it was just the end of March and now we are almost into May. Unbelievable! I cannot believe how time is flying by. My baby is turning one on May 19, and I think that is the other reason I am in denial about it already being May. Where has the past year gone? I cannot believe my little princess is almost one! Isn't she cute wearing her uncle's rasta beanie?
A Few More Fun Pictures
Family Trip to San Diego
Jeremy, Bryton and I took a little family getaway to San Diego.
We took Bryton to Sea World, and she actually loved it. She was so alert and aware of the animals. We had a total blast!
She was very curious about the Budweiser Clydesdales.
But she loved the Sea Lions.
Bryton and I in a Polar Bear cave.
Me and my girl.My 26th
Jeremy and Bryton took me out to breakfast on my birthday(stuffed french toast from Mimi's - yum!)
Then my mom, Bryton and I went to Disneyland that afternoon, and later that night we had a family party.
The next day Jeremy and I went shopping, and that night we went to the Cheesecake Factory (my favorite) for dinner with our friends, Damon and Jessica (below).
Bryton Update
Since it has been a while since I have posted, I thought I would start with an update about Bryton. This is a picture of Bryton at her 10 month doctor checkup, which was almost a month ago now. She weighed 19 lbs. and 11 oz. and was 29 inches long. She is now cruising all over the place (holding onto whatever she can get her hands on), and standing up on her own. Walking is definitely just around the corner. Some of her other new tricks include: 1. Dancing - she loves music!
2. Giving "High Five".
2. Giving "High Five".
3. Pretending she is on the phone - when you are on the phone she will put her hand up to her ear like she is talking on the phone too. Or if she can get her hands on a phone she will put it up to her ear.
4. Snapping. She loves to snap (or tries to). Especially when you sing, "If you're happy and you know it snap your fingers".
5. When you ask, "Bryton what does the cow say?" She responds, "MOOO!"
6. She knows where your eyes, nose and mouth are.
