We had a little family celebration on
Bryton's "real" birthday, with an ice cream cake and everything. However, she was a bit cautious at first, and never really ate a whole lot of it. But it was fun to watch her "experiment" with the cake anyway.
I swear she had a hard time going to sleep that night because of the sugar, which just made me all the more adamant about how careful I am about what we feed her - no more sugar!
The Saturday after her birthday, we had a "friends" party for
Bryton. It was a beach theme, and we had lots of fun, apart from the gloomy and drizzly weather.
Bryton loved having all the older kids around, eating pizza, and being the center of attention.
